Max Branning is feeling unloved and lonely in Monday’s episode of EastEnders (8.05 pm, see our TV Guide for full listings).

Max Branning is in a low place now that his last ditch plan to win round Linda Carter seems to have failed. 

Feeling more alone than ever as he looks after granddaughter Abi, his memories of her late mum Abi Branning come flooding back. Missing his dead daughter desperately, he shares memories of Abi with her young child.

Max’s brother Jack Branning picks up that Max is struggling, but with his own worries to distract him, he is unable to help. 

Max spots a flyer for a clairvoyant. Will he be tempted to get in contact with her?

Chelsea is worried about Denise in EastEnders

Meanwhile, Jack Branning is really worried that something dreadful has happened to Denise Fox

Ever since he and Denise’s daughter Chelsea Fox discovered Denise missing following an altercation with her ex-con ex Lucas Johnson, they have been terrified that murderer Lucas may have done something to her.

Dotty Cotton is keen to know whether Kush Kazemi is going to take the spare room in their house, as she’s desperate for some extra income. 

Kush’s best mate Martin Fowler doesn’t want Kush to move out of his place, but Kush tells Whitney Dean he’s in and he’ll take their spare room.

Meanwhile, Kheerat Panesar is keen to get his call centre staff keeping their eye on the job and he cracks the whip over break times. 

Everyone is surprised when Kheerat reveals they have a new starter… It’s Big Mo Harris!
