Emmerdale spoilers: Cain Dingle is arrested for Joe Tate's murder!

Emmerdale, Cain Dingle

There's a shocker in The Woolpack when the police arrive to question Cain and end up arresting him for the murder of Joe Tate...

Cain Dingle has sunk to a new low after his angry bust-ups with both wife Moira and daughter Debbie. Then there's the matter of THAT sleazy kiss with his his ex lover, Charity.

It's no wonder nobody wants anything to do with the village bad boy at the moment. He faces the firing squad when Vanessa hears how he tried to hit on her now girlfriend Charity. And when Debbie overhears the row, she's even more disgusted by her dad's behaviour.

But who reported his killer crime to the police?

Elsewhere in the village Paddy Kirk discovers evidence that someone has been sleeping rough in the pub cellar. Will pub landladies Charity and Chas Dingle discover it is now homeless pub employee Bob Hope?

And as Jacob Gallagher continues to blank his stepdad David Metcalfe's girlfriend Maya Stepney, will David's suspicions be raised about what's happened between teenager Jacob and teacher Maya to cause such a rift?

Emmerdale continues weekdays at 7:00pm on ITV
