Marlon plans to find out if Paddy's biological dad is a wrestler called Bear Wolf who allegedly had an affair with his mum
When Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) turned up she dropped a bombshell that still has her ex, Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt), in shock. The vet was utterly stunned when he was shown evidence, passed on by Mandy, which seemed to suggest his mum had had an affair with a wrestler, Bear Wolf, which could mean Bear is Paddy's biological father.
With both of Paddy's parents dead, Paddy's now in limbo. He's devastated to think that his childhood was based on a lie and is desperate for his beloved dad to have been his dad. As such, he doesn't really want to entertain a bar of Mandy's story.
But Paddy's best mate Marlon (Mark Charnock) and partner Chas (Lucy Pargeter) have other ideas. They love Paddy and would love for him to have a blood relative - a father, in fact - who's alive.
As such, Marlon's determined to see this mystery through to the bitter end, and decides he's going to confront Bear on Paddy's behalf at an upcoming wrestling convention. Oh lawks!
