Unaware that he's the fall-guy, Joe tells Grace and Trevor about his plan to poison Fraser in his own car. Knowing her dad and Sandy will be going to the emergency services ball tomorrow, Grace organises a limo for them and tells Joe this is the car he needs to rig. As Joe hands the limo keys to the designated chauffeur and runs through the plan, Sandy agrees to attend the ball with her husband. The limo arrives to pick Sandy and Fraser up.
Nana pockets the DVD of Jim, which has been hidden in a Legally Blonde case and Dennis buys it from her to sell at the emporium, unaware he now has a crucial piece of evidence. Sonny decides to hand over the DVD to Sam. But he panics when he can't find it.
Carmel has been to the emporium to buy it back, seeing how desperate Sonny is for what she thinks is a Reese Witherspoon film. She is heartbroken when she realises that Sonny covered up Jim's confession.
Danny, Sam and Tegan find Ste and beg him to tell the truth, but he is adamant that he is the one to blame. Tegan tells Leela that she's going to tell Sandy everything. However, Fraser intercepts Tegan at the police station and asks her to move in with him.
