Within Glasgow's Royal Hospital for Children, the Teenage Cancer Trust has set up a special unit.

This film follows the treatment of three teenagers there and it's impossible not to be deeply impressed by their response as they endure not only illness but also many side effects.

'I need to keep a smile on my face because I know it's helping my parents', says Nairn, 14, while Natasha, 15, explains:

'It's hard to deal with at the beginning. But then there's nothing else you can do. You’ve got it. Deal with it.’

The unit aims to get the teens to support each other: 'I wouldn't say it feels any different to hanging out with regular friends,' says Declan, 14, 'apart from the drips going off every five minutes.'
