Grace Black (Tamara Wall) is intrigued when she finds a white feather and a note in The Loft, signed from someone called Michael.
Later on a second feather and note appear asking Grace to go and meet Michael at Duke Street Social. A curious Grace decides to go and takes Lisa Loveday (Rachel Adedeji) with her. But what will they find when they turn up at the arranged meeting place? And who is this mystery man called Michael?
Meanwhile, Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) who has been partying hard with Liam Donovan (Jude Monk McGowan), is nursing a monster hangover and is feeling sorry for herself.
She apologises to her boys, Max and Bobby for neglecting them and lies to Sylver McQueen (David Tag) telling him she is unwell rather than admit that she is feeling dreadful from a hangover.
A caring Sylver decides he needs to look after Mercedes and so jacks in his new job, building chairs for The Hutch, so he can nurse her instead.
Plus Louis Loveday (Karl Collins), who is being held captive by serial killer Breda McQueen (Moya Brady), has already written a letter to Leela under Breda’s instructions but decides he wants to write one to his true love, his ex-wife Simone.
Breda is secretly disgusted that even now, Louis is continuing to betray Leela. What will she do next to make him suffer?
