Ever since Harry vanished, Marnie is worried about her son James Nightingale but as she tries to help, is James about to get some terrible news?
Marnie (Lysette Anothony) and Romeo (Owen Warner) are worried about James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan) ever since his boyfriend Harry Thompson’s sudden disappearance in Hollyoaks. His concerned family tries to encourage him to get back in the dating game.
However lawyer James is resisting and tells his mum and son it’s too soon for him to date anyone new. As Marnie and Romeo start squabbling, a forlorn James is temporarily distracted but he’s about to get a HUGE SHOCK when he receives a bombshell phone call. Has Harry’s body finally been discovered?
Elsewhere Cindy Cunningham (Stephanie Waring) and Luke Morgan (Gary Lucy) seem unable to resist each other. Yesterday the pair both went on separate disastrous dates but ended up in bed together on the Loveboat where Luke is currently living.
Cindy is super-excited about the new business plans that she has got lined up for Luke and is planning to buy the old florists and the Loft yard so that Luke can set up a new restaurant there.
She ropes in loaded Tom Cunningham (Ellis Hollins) to invest in her plan and Grace Black (Tamara Wall) agrees to sell to them.
A delighted Cindy is over the moon as her new venture seems to be coming together, however when she tries to give Luke a kiss, she’s left deflated when he pushes her away. Uh oh, this doesn’t seem like a good start to their new business partnership!
Elsewhere, Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) is struggling with constant baby reminders following her recent decision to have a termination. When Liam Donovan (Jude Monk McGowan) dumps his young daughter, Iona, on her to look after, it’s all too much for Mercy.
Her worried gran, Nana McQueen (Diane Langton) urges her to tell her husband Sylver (David Tag) about all her recent turmoil but Mercedes is not convinced it’s such a good idea.
Meanwhile, Sylver opens up to Liam, who unbeknownst to him has been having a passionate affair with Mercedes and the two of them start chatting about fatherhood. Sylver confesses to Liam he can’t wait to be a dad one day, unaware that his cheating wife was pregnant, but didn't know if the father was Sylver or Liam, and has just had a secret abortion!
