John Paul McQueen (James Sutton) is distraught when he’s advised to plead guilty to the murder of his abusive boyfriend George Kiss (Callum Kerr) in tonight’s Hollyoaks on at 6.30pm (See our TV Guide for full listings).
When new evidence comes to light in George’s murder case, John Paul is put in an incredibly compromising situation.
Lawyer James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan) tells John Paul there is only one way to secure a lesser sentence: to plead guilty!
Later on John Paul has some shock news for the McQueen family that leaves them reeling.
Meanwhile, Theresa McQueen (Jorgie Porter) is certain she’s found out the identity of the mystery witness who puts John Paul at the scene of George’s murder.
She is even more certain they're lying!
How can she and the rest of the McQueen family prove that the witness has invented a web of lies?
Meanwhile, at The Hutch, Martine Deveraux (Kelle Bryan), who recently found a lump in her breast and has now had a biopsy, lies to her family about not hearing back from the hospital.
However, Martine’s daughter Celeste Faroe (Andrea Ali) soon discovers that her mum has an appointment with the oncologist.
Martine’s ex, Felix Westwood (Richard Blackwood), is weighed down with guilt and apologies to Martine for how badly he’s treated her over the years.
However, Martine stops Felix in his tracks when she has a shocking announcement to make.
Plus, lovebirds Juliet Nightingale (Niamh Blackshaw) and Peri Lomax (Ruby O’Donnell) take the next big step in their relationship when Juliet moves into Peri’s room at the Lomax’s. Things are getting serious!
