Home and Away spoilers: Brody Morgan and Simone Bedford kiss!

Home and Away, Brody Morgan, Ziggy Morgan, Simone Bedford

As Ziggy's worries over her marriage continue, it looks like she has been right all along when sneaky Simone kisses Ziggy's hubby Brody!

It's the morning after the night before, and Ziggy Morgan is still annoyed her husband Brody sent her packing from restaurant Salt after she voiced her suspicions Brody's newest employee Simone Bedford has romantic feelings for him.

But Ziggy isn't about to be shut-down so easily. After finding a cute selfie of Simone and Brody together on Simone's phone, Ziggy remains convinced she has an ulterior motive in wanting to come and work at Salt.

So Ziggy decides to enlist the help of Summer Bay's most notorious womanizer, Dean Thompson! She asks Dean to flirt-up a storm with Ziggy to see if he can distract her from Brody. But things don't quite go according to plan when Brody gets defensive and warns Dean off for hitting on his staff!

With both Ziggy and Dean curious as to why Brody is being so protective of Simone, Ziggy seeks advice from her parents Ben and Maggie Astoni. She's been cheated on in the past and won't sit back and let it happen again!

Realising that they both need to focus on their marriage, Ziggy and Brody agree to put their recent squabbles aside. They only have eyes for each other, right?

But when Brody later tries to talk to Simone and tell her she can no longer work at Salt, she panics and, in the heat of the moment, passionately kisses him...

Home and Away continues weekdays at 1:15pm and 6:00pm on Channel 5

Simon has long been a fan of soap operas, and especially loves OVER-THE-TOP plots involving evil twins, hair-pulling catfights and natural disasters. Anyone remember the Sunset Beach earthquake/tidal wave? Or when Krystle Carrington got locked in the attic and replaced by look-a-like Rita in Dynasty?!

Simon has written for a variety of TV and childrens’ magazines/websites including Inside Soap, Nickelodeon, What’s On TV, Radio Times, Metro, Girl Talk, Disney Girl, Toxic! and Digital Spy. He has reported LIVE from the red carpet at The British Soap Awards interviewing glammed-up stars from soapland, and hosted a Facebook LIVE session for Metro with Home and Away legend Ray Meagher (Alf "Stone the flamin' crows!" Stewart) to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Aussie soap.

Simon is also co-author of The Treasures Of Coronation Street (Carlton Books)

And the writer and director of (very!) low budget fright flick, Midsummer Night's EVIL and the sequel webisodes series, The Hatchet Woods HORROR.
