Comedians Paul Whitehouse and Bob Mortimer embark on an angling trip round the UK in a new series on BBC2, first stop Norfolk
We are used to comedians Paul Whitehouse and Bob Mortimer making us laugh.
And they do that again in this new series about Paul trying to teach his old mate how to fish. But there is a serious purpose behind the show.
Bob had a triple bypass three years ago and Paul, who also has heart disease – he's had three stents fitted - thought fishing might help get Bob out and about again.
'Having heart disease changes your life,' says Bob.
'I miss cheese! And I’ve started exercising, which I’d never done before.
'In the middle of your life you talk about your kids but once they’ve flown the nest, all you talk about is your health!' he says.

'I have a strict exercise regime, adds Paul. 'I’ve told my family that if I don’t stick to it, I won’t be around. But if you want your inheritance, stop me!'
The pair go to stunning locations around the country, beginning this week in Norfolk, and while they wait for the fish to take the bait, they chat about everything, including their health and their childhoods and, of course, being who they are, they make each other (and us) laugh.
