Yikes! It all goes a bit Fight Club on Neighbours when Ned Willis resorts to dangerous extremes to overcome his stalker trauma...

Ned Willis (played by Ben Hall) is still trying to overcome the trauma he suffered at the hands of stalker Scarlett Brady on Neighbours (1:45pm/5:30pm on Channel 5, see our TV Guide for full listings), when she stabbed him on Halloween.

Still haunted by nightmares of scary Scarlett, Ned has also messed things up with ex-girlfriend Yashvi Rebecchi (Olivia Junkeer) along the way and is determined to get his life back on track.

Neighbours, Ned Willis, Scarlett Brady

Scarlett Brady moved to Erinsborough and started stalking Ned Willis after meeting him at the airport on Neighbours

Ned convinces boss Chloe Brennan (April Rose Pengilly) to let him return to his hotel job at Lassiters and he also starts using his pent-up energy to start working out at The Shed with neighbour Aaron Brennan (Matt Wilson).

However, it's not long before Ned catches the eye of a gruff gym goer called Kane who offers an unexpected alternative way for Ned to work out his frustrations and get over his trauma.

But will Ned let his anger take him to a dangerous extreme when Kane convinces him to join an underground fight club...

Meanwhile, there's friction between Chloe and her fiance Pierce Greyson (Tim Robards) after their argument, much to the secret delight of Pierce's meddling teenage son, Hendrix (Benny Turland).

So he seizes his chance to cause more problems between the pair.

Will Hendrix cause both Pierce and Chloe to question their wedding plans?

Neighbours, Kirsha Rebecchi

Kirsha wants to go to school in Sydney on Neighbours. But her parents think she is too young to move away from home.

Elsewhere, it's the last day Kirsha Rebecchi (Vani Dhir) can accept the scholarship offer to study at a school in Sydney.

While Kirsha's dad Shane (Nicholas Coghlan) is wary of holding back his youngest daughter from following her dreams, mum Dipi (Sharon Johal) is standing firm and refusing to let Kirsha move to Sydney.

Can the Rebecchi family reach a compromise?

Neighbours continues weekdays at 1:45pm and 5:30pm on Channel 5

Simon has long been a fan of soap operas, and especially loves OVER-THE-TOP plots involving evil twins, hair-pulling catfights and natural disasters. Anyone remember the Sunset Beach earthquake/tidal wave? Or when Krystle Carrington got locked in the attic and replaced by look-a-like Rita in Dynasty?!

Simon has written for a variety of TV and childrens’ magazines/websites including Inside Soap, Nickelodeon, What’s On TV, Radio Times, Metro, Girl Talk, Disney Girl, Toxic! and Digital Spy. He has reported LIVE from the red carpet at The British Soap Awards interviewing glammed-up stars from soapland, and hosted a Facebook LIVE session for Metro with Home and Away legend Ray Meagher (Alf "Stone the flamin' crows!" Stewart) to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Aussie soap.

Simon is also co-author of The Treasures Of Coronation Street (Carlton Books)

And the writer and director of (very!) low budget fright flick, Midsummer Night's EVIL and the sequel webisodes series, The Hatchet Woods HORROR.
