Neighbours, Elly Conway

After a heated confrontation with Pierce over Chloe on Neighbours, pregnant Elly storms off but slips and falls on her stomach...

Despite their break-up, Elly Conway (played by Jodi Anasta) is determined to remain just good friends with Chloe Brennan (April Rose Pengilly) on Neighbours.

However, Chloe is sad that Elly appears to be acting as if their short-lived romance never happened.

Luckily, Chloe's ex-lover Pierce Greyson (Tim Robards) is on hand to boost her spirits with a moonlit cinema "date" complete with bean bags and a cheese spread.

However, as Elly continues to text message Chloe, Pierce can see the heartbreak it is causing Chloe. Attempting to put his own romantic feelings for Chloe aside, Pierce decides to confront love-rival Elly and warns her to back-off!

Annoyed by Pierce's interference, pregnant Elly storms off, only to slip and fall on her stomach. Has her unborn baby just been plunged into peril?

Neighbours, Yashvi Rebecchi

Yashvi and her dad Shane have fallen out on Neighbours. (Picture: Channel 5)

Meanwhile, just when it looks like teenager Yashvi Rebecchi (Olivia Junkeer) and her dad Shane Rebecchi (Nicholas Coghlan) have mended fences, Yashvi's boyfriend Ned Willis (Ben Hall) accidentally lets slip some information that really annoys Shane.

It's not long before Shane vents his frustrations to his wife Dipi (Sharon Johal), declaring he doesn't like the person Yashvi is becoming.

But the angry dad is unaware Yashvi has overheard his every word and stormed off. Doesn't look like this family feud is going to be resolved any time soon!

Neighbours continues weekdays at 1:45pm and 5:30pm on Channel 5

Simon has long been a fan of soap operas, and especially loves OVER-THE-TOP plots involving evil twins, hair-pulling catfights and natural disasters. Anyone remember the Sunset Beach earthquake/tidal wave? Or when Krystle Carrington got locked in the attic and replaced by look-a-like Rita in Dynasty?!

Simon has written for a variety of TV and childrens’ magazines/websites including Inside Soap, Nickelodeon, What’s On TV, Radio Times, Metro, Girl Talk, Disney Girl, Toxic! and Digital Spy. He has reported LIVE from the red carpet at The British Soap Awards interviewing glammed-up stars from soapland, and hosted a Facebook LIVE session for Metro with Home and Away legend Ray Meagher (Alf "Stone the flamin' crows!" Stewart) to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Aussie soap.
