A visit from his womanising brother results prompts Raf to take his relationship with Essie to the next level

When his womanising brother turns up at Holby, this week, registrar Raf di Lucca ends up making a big decision about his own love life. Raf’s surprised when his wayward brother Giuseppe turns up on AAU with work colleague, Cindy, who’s been injured in a fall. But he’s unimpressed when he discovers Giuseppe is having an affair with Cindy behind wife Shona’s back!

Giuseppe’s tangled love life soon prompts Raf to reflect on his own relationship with colleague, Essie Harrison. Raf realises just how much he loves Essie and how much he wants to commit to her. Thinking there’s no time like the present, Raf then stuns Essie when he gets down on one knee and proposes! Will Essie say yes?

Meanwhile, Fredrik knows he’s up against the clock if he’s to get dad Hanssen to give his professional backing for the next phase of a drug trial. Fredrik pulls out all the stops to impress Hanssen when diagnosing and treating patient, Anna, from his native Sweden. It soon transpires, however, that Anna’s part of Frederik’s masterplan…

Also, with Ollie continuing to train Damon, Jac drops a bombshell – Damon thinks Ollie’s boring! As an amused Matteo comically vies for Damon’s attention, can Ollie prove he’s one of the cool kids?
