Denise is grateful for Ian's offer of his spare room. Now her living situation is sorted she realises she needs to make things up to her sister. Kim makes it difficult for Denise, but they are reunited. Later, Kim is left heartbroken when Ray arrives and tells her he wants to end things. Kim thinks it's Denise's fault and tells her she never wants to see her again. Zainab finds a saucy letter written by Ayesha, which makes it clear she has a big crush on someone. Masood worries it could by AJ after eliminating Fatboy and Tamwar. At the dining table, Masood plays some footsie with Zainab. He's horrified when Zainab gets up from the table and he realises the foot is Ayesha's! Abi has had enough of being cast as the baddie at home when the family have a go at her for bringing Dexter over. Tanya and Max are taken aback when Abi stands up for herself, pointing out she didn't mean to cause trouble. Later, Dexter tries to apologise to Abi for not telling her the truth, but she slams the door in his face. Cora walks with him to the tube where Ava is waiting for him.

He has produced TV news and entertainment features on personalities as diverse as Nick Cave, Tom Hardy, Clive James, Jodie Marsh and Kevin Bacon and he co-produced and directed The Ponds, which has screened in UK cinemas, BBC Four and is currently available on Netflix.
An entertainment writer with a diverse taste in TV and film, he lists Seinfeld, The Sopranos, The Chase, The Thick of It and Detectorists among his favourite shows, but steers well clear of most sci-fi.
