Olympic swimmer turned I'm A Celebrity contestant Rebecca Adlington is reported to have undergone a nose job at a Harley Street clinic.

According to the Sunday Mirror the 25-year-old had the surgery - which involved having her nose reduced in size and having a bump removed - a few weeks ago.

And although she kept news of the operation under wraps, the paper reported that she was spotted looking very different as she enjoyed a day out in Cheshire.

Rebecca has previously admitted having issues with her looks, and broke down in tears in the I'm A Celebrity jungle as she discussed her appearance with model Amy Willerton.

She later admitted: "Every day I look in the mirror and I think 'God I'm not pretty'." I’ve got a very big nose’.

"People say ‘Oh God you look like a dolphin’, or ‘I didn’t realise they let whales into the Olympics, but at least you should be able to swim faster’.

“I’d have it straightened," she added. "But I couldn’t float the idea of having a nose job before, because with swimming you only get two weeks off a year.

Rebecca also confessed that comments about her looks were hard to get used to after being thrust into the limelight following her swimming success.

"I thought 'why do people judge me for the way I look?'" she said. "It's not as if I was trying to be a model.

"I always had a bit of insecurity about how I looked growing up. So those comments hurt."
