There's heartbreak heading for Neighbours today as Toadie Rebecchi finds his past coming back to haunt him...

Neighbours fans watched in horror last week when Toadie Rebecchi came face-to-face with scheming Andrea Somers in The Waterhole. But little does the grieving dad know, his problems are only just beginning...

When Sonya Rebecchi went to visit Andrea in a psychiatric hospital regarding baby Hugo's custody, she came home with the secret that Andrea believes Toadie's former wife Dee Bliss could still be alive thanks to some new information.

After learning that a man in a market had apparently mistaken Andrea for a woman called Karen, Sonya confided in Toadie's brother Shane shortly before she sadly died.

But Shane has been battling with what to do with this information, and shared it with his wife Dipi and their neighbour Mark, rather than burden Toadie with it so soon after his wife's death.

But Shane's investigating has inadvertently bought Andrea to Erinshborugh, and Toadie is not happy to see the woman who tried to destroy their lives - especially when today's episode sees a whole new twist in the storyline.

Despite Toadie's wishes to ignore Andrea's claims, Shane and Dipi ask Mark to do a bit more digging into the mystery, and when he makes a shocking discovery, the trio start to wonder if Andrea is in fact telling the truth for once.

Mark finds out that at the same time and in the same location that Andrea was mistaken for someone called Karen, Dee's sister Cecile Bliss was being buried at her funeral... and if there is anything that will bring someone out of hiding, it is their sister's funeral.

And what is more, Mark is set to find out from the funeral parlour that the funeral was paid for in cash... the same as Dee's parent's funeral was a few years previously.

Could this all be a huge coincidence, or has Mark's digging unearthed proof that Dee is still alive and living under a pseudonym?

Only time will tell... but will Toadie go in search for his first wife, or is he going to let the ghosts of his past rest?

Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5
