Last night saw more shock revelations from a broken Tiffany Butcher...

Last night's EastEnders has left fans heartbroken for Tiffany Butcher as she confessed to Jack Branning that she was raped by Evie's evil gang mates.

The devastating revelation came after Tiffany went to see her uncle at the start of yesterday's episode, wanting to find out more about what had happened to Evie.

Jack reassured Tiffany that Evie was safe, and he was clearly torn when she asked him to get a letter to Evie as a way of saying goodbye.

Despite the fact that Jack thought it was better for Tiffany to forget about Evie and try and move on with her life, he agreed to help his niece and called his police contacts.

EastEnders Tiffany Butcher Whitney Dean and Sonia Fowler

Sonia and Whitney have tried to save Tiffany, but it is Jack who has really helped his niece...

But when he phoned for an update on Tiffany's former 'friend' he was horrified to discover that the case was now being treated as child grooming after Evie gave a statement, and that two men were set to be arrested for the crime.

Having seen the bruises on Tiffany's wrists, Jack gently asked her if anything like that had happened to her, but she quickly avoided the question.

It was only later in the kitchen that the teenager opened up to Jack and told him that she was also raped, leaving fans on the edge of their seats...

As well as being full of praise for this shock new twist, fans are also loving Jack's new role in the storyline.

Not only does Jack have the contacts that Evie and Tiffany needed to get themselves out of danger, but he also could see what had happened to Tiffany before she's even talked about it... succeeding where Sonia and Whitney had unfortunately failed.

Last night's EastEnders also saw the return of Ben Mitchell and Lola Pearce after Kathy called her son to come home.

She's known for a while that Phil is in some kind of trouble, but will Ben's return help or hinder Phil in his dodgy money laundering dealings?

EastEnders airs Monday and Friday at 8pm and Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
