Home and Away's Colby Thorne and Mackenzie Booth find their romance on the rocks today...

Home and Away's local police officer Colby Thorne is a firm favourite with soap fans... and everyone is loving his new romance with his best friend's sister, Mackenzie Booth.

The pair have been inseparable since they got together a few months ago, and with their romance going from strength-to-strength, it seemed they could be in it for the long haul.

But when Mackenzie gets a shocking insight into what it is like to date a cop in today's Home and Away (6pm, see our TV guide for full listings), she starts to wonder if she is cut out for Colby's world.

Jasmine Delaney might now be safe from her kidnappers, but her nightmare is far from over with her husband Robbo now missing.

The pair have been caught up in drama since their wedding day, having lived a life on the run from a dangerous gang since the moment they said 'I do' earlier this year.

With Colby being their friend as well as the local police officer, he has been heavily involved in the recent drama that saw Robbo trying to save Jasmine from the gang after she was kidnapped while on the way to the airport as she tried to flee the country.

Today sees Jasmine reach rock bottom as she panics about where Robbo could be, already fearing the worst as the hours tick by and Robbo is nowhere to be seen.

But as she struggles with the enormity of what is happening, Mackenzie can't cope with what she is watching, putting herself in Jasmine's shoes if it was Colby who was missing.

As Colby heads the search for Robbo as well as looking after Jasmine, his picnic date with Mackenzie is soon forgotten, but when he heads to Salt to apologise, she is more concerned about how shattered he looks, rather than their missed date.

The following morning, Bella sees Mackenzie on the beach and she reveals that Colby hasn't come home all night and is still working.

Mackenzie freaks out that something might have happened to Colby, leaving Bella to explain that it is normal for her brother to work long hours and that being in constant danger is all part of the job.

But Mackenzie isn't convinced she is cut out for dating someone with such a stressful - not to mention dangerous - job and she tells Bella that she doesn't think she can do this any more.

Is this the end of Colby and Mackenzie already? Or will Bella be able to talk Mackenzie round?
