Holby fans flood Twitter in delight over 'Berena' kiss!

Bernie Serena Holby City

There was a shock twist at the end of Tuesday night's Holby as Bernie Wolfe and Serena Campbell kissed! Fans are thrilled with this latest development and took to Twitter to congratulate #Berena...

Things took an unexpected turn in Tuesday night's Holby City, as trauma surgeon Bernie Wolfe locked lips with AAU stalwart Serena Campbell - and it seems fans are delighted.

This latest development came between the two characters after a trying day on the wards, which saw their colleague, ward manager Adrian 'Fletch' Fletcher, stabbed by a patient.

As Bernie and Serena battled to save him, Bernie blamed herself for the incident and, as Serena reassured her it wasn't her fault, Bernie leaned in for a kiss... and Serena appeared to like it.

And, judging by the feedback, fans liked it too, with many taking to Twitter to express their delight over #Berena:
