Coronation Street's Les Dennis reveals Michael goes into meltdown when Gail’s late for their Big Day...
Why is Gail late for their wedding?
"The real Gavin [Mark Holgate] tuns up on her doorstep as she’s getting ready, reveals who he is and demands money. Of course, Michael has no idea about this. He presumes Gail [Helen Worth] must have cold feet."
How does Michael feel while he's waiting?
"Michael becomes very anxious and starts worrying the best day of his life actually might turn out to be the worst!"
Doesn't Gavin/Andy reassure him?
"Not really because Andy [Oliver Farnworth] is so worried about the repercussions of the real Gavin turning up. Michael’s aware something isn’t right but doesn’t know what. If Michael wasn’t so distracted by the wedding, he might realise Andy’s behaviour has something to do with the bloke who was with him earlier that morning – the real Gavin."

Why? What happens?
"On the morning of the wedding, the real Gavin walks over to Michael and tells him his son doesn’t love him - he’s clearly talking about himself, but obviously Michael thinks he’s referring to Andy."
What’s Michael’s reply?
"He says that everyone deserves a second chance. It’s an interesting scene as Michael’s real son is trying to tell him something, but Michael thinks he’s talking about someone else!"
Does Gail eventually turn up?
"If she does, Michael will be livid with her and we’ve never seen him angry before. He’ll be the worm that turns! If she does turn up he may well feel like walking away."
How do you think he’d feel if he knew the truth about Gavin – and that Gail was keeping it secret?
"It can’t stay a secret forever and I imagine Michael will be devastated at all the deceit when he finds out. It’s such a monumental lie…"
