Will Corrie's Jason Grimshaw survive brutal beating by gang?

Coronation Street’s Jason Grimshaw is to be left fighting for his life after he is attacked by a gang of thugs hired by Callum Logan.

Jason (Ryan Thomas) comes under fire from the Corrie villain, played by Sean Ward, when he steps in to stop him threatening the Platt family.

But The Sun reported the attack on the builder will be shockingly severe, and viewers will realise just how bad Callum is when Jason is left for dead.

Jason’s parents Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver) and Tony Stewart (Terence Maynard) will be brought closer together by the incident as they hold a bedside vigil as doctors battle to save their son.

And the rest of the Corrie residents will be left shocked and shaken by the severity of the attack on their doorstep.

When Sarah Platt finds out Callum is responsible for the attack on her ex, she tells Tony, sparking a revenge mission.

Last November, Jason’s brother Todd Grimshaw (Bruno Langley) was left scarred for life when he was beaten in a random gang attack.

David Platt has previously suffered a beating at the hands of Callum, after he tried to plant drugs in his car in their custody battle over Callum’s son Max.
