Ben Fogle returns to meet more people who have left their old routines behind to start a completely different way of life.

This week, Ben heads to the snowy mountain forests of Washington State, USA, to visit London-born Lynx Vilden, who now spends most of the year living a Stone Age lifestyle.

Sleeping in earth lodges, wearing animal hides, using moss for toilet paper, washing in snow… it’s all a bit of a shock for Ben, as he beds down in his buffalo-skin sleeping bag.

The more he becomes immersed in Lynx's primitive life, however, the more impressed he is by her and her skills – and, we suspect, the more grateful he is for the little luxuries of the modern world, like heating and duvets…
