Darren hears about Lee's plans for Guy Candy and spotting an opportunity to make money he offers to buy them lunch behind Lees back. In the Dog he tells them that Lee is clueless and he would be a much better manager. After a little persuasion they agree and tell Lee he's fired. Carl overhears Mercy talking about her dream Jet-set lifestyle and gets an idea. He offers her a wad of cash to stay away from his son for good. Gilly heads to the Dog and starts drinking. He threatens Darren and Mercy has to intervene, she tells him that he should talk about Steph but he gets the wrong end of the stick and tries it on with her. After Mercedes rejects him he overhears Lee talking about his plans for Steph's flashy memorial service. He flips and after attacking Lee is kicked out by Jack and Barred by Carl. Also; Warren confronts Tony and he realises that Dom was telling the truth about him being alive, and Brendan overhears; Brendan goes to Ste's house and waits for Rae to leave. His CV includes spells as a news producer at the BBC and TVNZ, as well as web editor for Time Inc UK. He has produced TV news and entertainment features on personalities as diverse as Nick Cave, Tom Hardy, Clive James, Jodie Marsh and Kevin Bacon and he co-produced and directed The Ponds, which has screened in UK cinemas, BBC Four and is currently available on Netflix. 

An entertainment writer with a diverse taste in TV and film, he lists Seinfeld, The Sopranos, The Chase, The Thick of It and Detectorists among his favourite shows, but steers well clear of most sci-fi.
