It's Dex's first public outing but things don't go well and Sid suggests they probably tried too soon. Dex is becoming more and more impatient with his slow progress and, no matter what Sid and April say, his frustration is becoming more evident. And when April reveals she's let the lease on their apartment go, it seems to push him further into his gloom. Sid tries to comfort his son but Dex just wishes he'd died in the accident instead of being a burden to his family. Rocco is still critical but Heath continues to stay away from the hospital until April makes him see sense. He eventually joins Bianca who apologises for blaming him and confesses she wants to be together as a family. Then the doctor brings good news, Rocco is progressing well. Roo and Harvey try to resolve their issues out on the boat and go over all the old discussions about their feelings for their former partners. Ultimately, they realise that all that matters is that they love each other and don't want to be apart, and Harvey proposes marriage once again...
