Doctors spoilers: Ex-Hollyoaks actor James Sutton guest stars!
Ex-Hollyoaks star James Sutton appears in today's episode as Aaron Trent, a mystery man who could be mixed up in murder...
The last time we saw James Sutton in soapland, his Hollyoaks character John Paul McQueen was left heartbroken after long-time love Ste Hay decided to propose to new boyfriend Harry Thompson instead.
But that was then and this is now, with James guest-starring in today's episode of Doctors.
It finds Dr Jimmi Clay and policeman Rob Hollins looking into a missing persons case, after an injured man, Tom Albright, stumbles into the police station covered in cuts and bruises.
While Jimmi treats his injuries, Tom remains in a confused state. But when he says he remembers his wife Tess lying in a pool of blood, and the police later find council worker Tom's crashed car, Rob begins to believe a crime has been committed. But by who?
Elsewhere in Letherbridge, another man Aaron Trent (played by guest star James Sutton) desperately tries to clean blood off his kitchen floor! What's going on?
Meanwhile, Zara Carmichael is on edge when her husband Daniel Granger returns to work at The Mill. The pair have barely spoken since Daniel walked out on just before Christmas after a almighty row over Zara slapping his troublesome daughter Izzie Torres.
But it's not long before the rest of the surgery staff pick up on the bad vibes between Zara and Daniel and are determined to get all the juicy gossip!
Also, Mrs Tembe and church vicar Gordon Clement's renewed friendship continues to go from strength to strength when they help out at a local food bank. Gordon admits he doesn't know why they ever let anything come between them.
Is there a chance these two could revive their former romance too?
Doctors continues weekdays at 1:45pm on BBC One
