Hollyoaks spoilers: Cindy Cunningham returns to Chester but finds herself facing fresh trouble

Cindy Cunningham finally returns to the village but has new turmoil to face thanks to Mac Nightingale's evil manipulations

After weeks away, Cindy Cunningham who has been the victim of evil Mac’s meddling finally returns to Chester.

Mac Nightingale (David Easter) and Donna- Marie Quinn (Lucy-Jo Hudson) had teamed up to plot against Cindy and had previously swapped her medication for her bipolar condition, replacing them with vitamin pills.

They then fooled her into thinking she was losing her mind by making her believe she was receiving messages from her dead husband, Dirk Savage, from beyond the grave.

Cindy’s mental health took a turn for the worse and when she began lashing out she was taken away to get professional help and receive treatment.

However, tonight she finally returns to Chester but is horrified to be greeted with some new bombshell revelations.

Meanwhile nasty Mac, has tired of having Donna- Marie Quinn around and after she previously declared her love for him, he’s decided to boot her out. However Donna-Marie has still got an ace up her sleeve and leaves Mac floundering when she breaks some life-changing news to him!

Mac swiftly does a U-turn and is given food for thought when Donna-Marie promises she’ll help him take down James and his ex-wife, Marnie, if he lets her stay at the house for longer.

Elsewhere, Laurie, Sinead, Sienna and Brody go on a double date in The Hutch. Brody wastes no time in showing off his cocktail-making skills but Nancy (Jessica Fox), who’s also there, has alarm bells ringing when she spots Sinead’s hubby, deputy-headmaster, Laurie Shelby (Kyle Pryor), getting close to his colleague Sienna.

Nancy warns Sinead to be careful with the ‘husband-stealing witch’ Sienna. Has jealous Sienna got reason to be worried?
