Home and Away star George Mason leaving ‘dream job’as Martin ‘Ash’ Ashford

Having thought she'd seen the last of her ex-boyfriend Ash weeks ago, Tori's in for a surprise when Ash returns to Summer Bay!

Summer Bay thought it had seen the last of Martin "Ash" Ashford after he left town to deal with his grief over the death of policeman girlfriend Kat Chapman and their unborn child.

But Ash unexpectedly returns to the Bay this week, and the first person he goes to see is his most recent girlfriend, Dr Tori Morgan at the hospital. But what is Ash doing back in town and will he still stick around when he discovers his old enemy Robbo is still about?

Meanwhile, the Astoni family is thrilled when mum Maggie wakes-up. The anti-biotics have helped her fight the pneumonia. But she's greeted by some bad news.

The stem cell transplant that could help Maggie beat her cancer hasn't worked and the family is crushed. With the stem cell treatment Maggie's only hope, can another suitable donor be found in time?

Home and Away continues weekdays at 1:15pm and 6:00pm on Channel 5
