Home and Away spoilers: Colby Thorne attempts to give his ex Chelsea Campbell the brush-off!

Home and Away, Chelsea Campbell, Colby Thorne

Colby's attempt to avoid his ex Chelsea backfires when their police boss Sergeant McCarthy assigns them to work together...

Things have been rather awkward for PC Colby Thorne since his ex-fiancee Chelsea Campbell transferred to work at Yabbie Creek Police Station and dropped the bombshell she's still in love with him and wants them to get back together.

Colby claims he doesn't feel the same way and has been doing his best to avoid Chelsea. But when their boss Sergeant McCarthy clocks the unresolved tension between the pair, it's not long before he discovers the truth about their past relationship.

Annoyed this information wasn't declared before, no-nonsense Sergeant McCarthy warns Colby and Chelsea their personal issues had better not affect their police work. And just to make sure they are capable of working as a team, Sergeant McCarthy then assigns Colby and Chelsea to work together and warns them, if the arrangement doesn't work, one of them will have to leave!

Meanwhile, with Dean Thompson about to spiral out of control again, his ex-girlfriend Willow Harris asks for Colby's help in dishing out some home truths to get Dean back on the straight and narrow. But is Dean done trying to contact his unsupportive mum, Karen, who wrecked emotional damage on him when he was younger?

And Mason Morgan is still down in the dumps over his break-up with girlfriend Dempsey, after she decided she doesn't want to give birth to their unborn child.

So when Mason discovers that big sister Tori has asked her friend Robbo to be a sperm donor so she can have a baby, even though they are not a couple, he is critical of her decision.

Will angry Mason rebel by letting slip to Tori's hospital colleague Jasmine Delaney the truth about Tori and Robbo's arrangement?

Home and Away continues weekdays at 1:15pm and 6:00pm on Channel 5
