Bella Nixon tells the truth about her attacker Tommy in court on Home and Away...

Are Bella and Colby one step closer to putting this horrible ordeal behind them?

Meanwhile, Irene Roberts (Lynne McGranger) is grateful Bella has told the truth and explained how Irene whacked Tommy over the head after she returned home to find him attempting to sexually assualt Bella in the bedroom.

And that's not all, the survivor's group, led by the plucky Teresa (Simone McAullay) gather outside the courthouse to show their support with placards and chants, boosting Irene's spirits.

However, things take an unexpected turn when Irene's friend Leah Patterson (Ada Nicodemou) discovers angry posts on her blog, warning there'll be hell to pay if Irene isn't found innocent.

Uh-oh, could Summer Bay have a possible vigilante riot on its hands?

Elsewhere, Ben Astoni (Rohan Nichol) is preoccupied with his own upcoming court case.

But friends Alf Stewart (Ray Meagher) and Justin Morgan (James Stewart) are worried when they witness Ben angrily snap on the phone to his lawyer and then stomp off in an angry mood...

Simon has long been a fan of soap operas, and especially loves OVER-THE-TOP plots involving evil twins, hair-pulling catfights and natural disasters. Anyone remember the Sunset Beach earthquake/tidal wave? Or when Krystle Carrington got locked in the attic and replaced by look-a-like Rita in Dynasty?!

Simon has written for a variety of TV and childrens’ magazines/websites including Inside Soap, Nickelodeon, What’s On TV, Radio Times, Metro, Girl Talk, Disney Girl, Toxic! and Digital Spy. He has reported LIVE from the red carpet at The British Soap Awards interviewing glammed-up stars from soapland, and hosted a Facebook LIVE session for Metro with Home and Away legend Ray Meagher (Alf "Stone the flamin' crows!" Stewart) to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Aussie soap.

Simon is also co-author of The Treasures Of Coronation Street (Carlton Books)

And the writer and director of (very!) low budget fright flick, Midsummer Night's EVIL and the sequel webisodes series, The Hatchet Woods HORROR.
