Neighbours spoilers: Elly Conway is suspicious of Chloe Brennan's ex-girlfriend

Neighbours, Elly Conway

Unaware of her ex-girlfriend Mel's shifty behaviour, Chloe has decided to give her another chance. However, Elly has her suspicions...

Elly Conway just wants what's best for her friend and future sister-in-law Chloe Brennan. So even though Elly has heard the horror stories about how Chloe's ex-girlfriend Mel stole from her and left her with a load of debts, she's encouraged Chloe to give Mel another chance.

However, as Chloe and Mel start to get close again, Elly senses something's not right. Is Mel to be trusted?

And Elly is right to worry, as little does anybody know but ambitious estate agent Mel just sabotaged a big event at the Robinson Pines property development for project manager Amy Williams, and then swooped in to pick up the pieces acting as the perfect sales person.

Impressed by her sale pitch, Paul Robinson decides to offer Mel a job!

Writer

Simon has long been a fan of soap operas, and especially loves OVER-THE-TOP plots involving evil twins, hair-pulling catfights and natural disasters. Anyone remember the Sunset Beach earthquake/tidal wave? Or when Krystle Carrington got locked in the attic and replaced by look-a-like Rita in Dynasty?!

Simon has written for a variety of TV and childrens’ magazines/websites including Inside Soap, Nickelodeon, What’s On TV, Radio Times, Metro, Girl Talk, Disney Girl, Toxic! and Digital Spy. He has reported LIVE from the red carpet at The British Soap Awards interviewing glammed-up stars from soapland, and hosted a Facebook LIVE session for Metro with Home and Away legend Ray Meagher (Alf "Stone the flamin' crows!" Stewart) to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Aussie soap.

Simon is also co-author of The Treasures Of Coronation Street (Carlton Books)

And the writer and director of (very!) low budget fright flick, Midsummer Night's EVIL and the sequel webisodes series, The Hatchet Woods HORROR.
