It's best not to know too much about the rest of the plot of this subtle, strangely haunting movie, but it makes for intriguing viewing as we gradually find out what's behind Smith's actions.
In a movie all about emotion and acting, Smith is excellent, playing his role with great charm and conviction, and, of his co-stars, Rosario Dawson is especially enchanting as a woman with a dicky heart who unexpectedly gets close to him.
