Paul and Terese are trapped in the storeroom at Robinsons with no air conditioning. When the oppressive heat becomes unbearable, Paul suggests they disrobe and Terese admits it's the only way to survive the heat. As the hours tick by, Paul and Terese open up to each other until finally, the intimacy of their situation and their attraction for each other, overwhelms them.
As Susan and Doug set off for the nearest air-conditioned shopping centre, the car breaks down. She suspects Doug has added water to the oil instead of topping up the radiator as he claims. Abandoning the car, they walk back in the savage heat, but their decision proves to have life-threatening consequences when Susan collapses.
Steph is stressed as she prepares for mediation where she will challenge Philippa Hoyland over Charlie. When she discovers she has run out of her meds, she asks Tyler to go to the pharmacy to fill out her prescription for her. However, they can’t supply the meds and, as she meets Toadie to head to mediation, she struggles to contain her rising agitation.
