Twin Peaks returns with what co-creator David Lynch calls 'a feature film in 18 parts'

It's finally time – that show you like is back in style! A quarter of a century after a bloodied Agent Dale Cooper (Kyle MacLachlan) freaked us out by cackling 'How's Annie?' as the credits rolled, Twin Peaks returns with what co-creator David Lynch calls 'a feature film in 18 parts' (true aficionados may have caught Sky Atlantic’s US simulcast at 2.00am Monday morning).

Among many returning characters are Cooper, waitress Shelly (Mädchen Amick) and DEA agent Denise (David Duchovny!), plus new stars Laura Dern and Naomi Watts. Laura Palmer did say she'd see us again in 25 years, so settle down with a damn fine cup of coffee for this opening double bill and prepare to be freaked out all over again…
