Was it self-defence for Sasha?

Sasha has admitted to her father that she killed Stu. She's extremely relieved, then, when Sid promises to protect her. He recruits Morag to help in defending his daughter, and she takes Sasha into the Police Station to explain the truth behind Stu's death. It appears to be a clear case of self-defence, but when Sasha returns home, remorseful about all the trouble she's caused for her family, she is arrested for Stu's murder. Xavier learns of Sasha's plight and immediately asks the police academy for temporarily leave. His request is denied... but he decides to leave anyway as Sasha needs him. Gina's shocked that Xavier left without permission but he says he thinks the boss, Rafferty, is singling him out. Gina says she thinks Xavier should report him. Xavier talks to Sergeant Watson about it, and she gives him some useful advice. Indi, Dex and Roo all feel very guilty that they doubted Sid. Indi and Dex apologise to him and promise they'll trust him from now on. It seems the family bonds have grown closer through their ordeal.
