Mercedes tells Riley that she wants to leave Hollyoaks knowing Carl will pay her way, and later Carl offers her ten thousand pounds if she promises to stay out of Riley's life for good. But Riley has other ideas and tells Mercy that he wants to stay with her, wherever she chooses to go. DCI Scott arrests Warren and takes him in for questioning. After telling them he can't remember anything about The Loft fire the police are forced to let him go but, DCI Scott tells him he'll be keeping an eye on him. Later, Warren tells Mandy to stick with their plan for revenge. Cheryl enlists the help of Alfonse, the Costello's Interior Designer, to help her give Chez Chez at the SU Bar a make over. But he isn't all he seems. When he asks Cheryl if Brendan is gay she finds it hilarious and tells him. Brendan flips and threatens Alfonso. Also; Kathleen McQueen turns up at Chez Chez trying to buy drinks with a fake fifty pound note. Brendan chases after her and the pair bump into DCI Scott.
