Working as a housemaid for an upper-class couple in the 1950s, Hyacinth is inspired to better not just herself but the rest of her family. Not that they appreciate it, mind! And Hyacinth's fiancé isn’t Richard, but a chap called William.

Looks like she's got a way to go before she becomes the proud owner of best china… Showing at 9.00pm is a brand new episode of Goodnight Sweetheart, with Nicholas Lyndhurst returning as time-traveller Gary Sparrow.
