Mandy and Luke are keen to get on with their lives especially Mandy who is desperate to be reunited with her daughter Ella, currently being looked after by social services.
The exes agree to put their differences behind them to spend time with their little girl in Chester and it's not long before the three of them are enjoying the perfect family day together.
However things take a dramatic turn for the worse when alcoholic Luke suddenly scarpers without warning.
