Holby medic Zosia March gets some bombshell news next week...

Zosia March gets an almighty shock in next week's Holby City… when she discovers she's pregnant!

After a team night out at Albie's bar, Zosia’s doctor boyfriend Oliver Valentine (James Anderson) turns up for his shift at Holby feeling more than a little worse for wear. But then it's Zosia who starts feeling a bit queasy…

'Zosia's really upset with Ollie because he got really drunk and locked her out of their flat,' revealed Camilla, who plays the medic. 'But then she starts feeling a little bit nauseous herself and can't understand why because she didn't really drink that much the night before.'

Being a doctor, Zosia immediately suspects she could be pregnant, so she takes a test and is stunned when it reveals a positive result!

'It's a real shock to the system and Zosia's feeling terrified and bamboozled by the whole thing, as anyone would,' said Camilla. 'She doesn't really know how to deal with it.'

Although she tries to tell Ollie about the baby a few times, she ends up keeping the news to herself. Is Zosia ready for motherhood? Camilla's not so sure…

'Ollie and Zosia only recently moved in together and she's only just become mentally well again plus, being such a career girl, the idea of having a baby probably doesn't suit her at all,' said Camilla. 'Part of Zosia thinks she and Ollie could make quite good parents. Whether it's the right time is another matter.'

Holby City continues Tuesdays at 8pm on BBC1.
