ROMANCE in the air for Home and Away's most unexpected couple after SHOCK KISS?

There's shock in Home and Away when Dr Alex Neilson kisses Willow Harris...

Willow Harris is set to be left speechless in today's Home and Away when Dr Alex Neilson kisses her.

Home and Away fans have known for a while that newcomer Alex is gay... but it's not yet common knowledge in Summer Bay, meaning her kiss with Willow is more of a surprise than it should be.

The pair have been getting on like a house on fire, having clicked from the moment that they met.

With Willow giving Alex personal training sessions and welcoming her into Summer Bay with open arms, while Alex has returned the favour by being a shoulder to cry on as Willow worried about Jasmine's fate after being kidnapped.

But today's Home and Away (6pm, see our TV guide for full listings) sees the pair grow closer than ever when Willow goes to see Jasmine in hospital after being rescued from her kidnappers, leading to Alex seeing just how kind and caring Willow is.

The pair share a lift home together from the hospital later that day, and as they chat, it is clear Willow feels more comfortable than ever around her new friend.

And the feeling is certainly mutual, with Alex hanging on every word that Willow has to say, clearly besotted with her new companion.

Eventually as the pair walk home, Alex takes the plunge and shows Willow exactly how much she likes her by kissing her in the heat of the moment... but as soon as she realises how shocked Willow is, she races off before Willow can say a word.
