What’s on telly tonight? Here the TV Times team of expert reviewers highlight the best shows on Sunday 25th November

Dynasties, 8pm, BBC1

Having already observed chimpanzees and penguins, the series on family dynamics in the animal world continues with a focus on Kenya’s Marsh Pride of lions. These lions live in the Masai Mara, but now face disaster as the adult males who protected them have abandoned the group. So, it’s left up to lioness Charm and her cousin Sienna to feed and protect their youngsters and keep them safe from other lions, hyenas and crocodiles. Tragically, though, this episode shows that the biggest threat Africa’s lions now face is being poisoned by farmers trying to protect their livestock. Can Charm keep her pride alive and beat the odds to ensure the Marsh Pride’s dynasty survives? Rating: ****

Little Drummer Girl, 9pm, BBC1

After coming face to face with Fatmeh, sister of Palestinian terrorist Khalil, Charlie realises there’s no going back when she’s sent to a militia training camp in Lebanon. While there she meets other Westerners who want to join the cause, and one of them suspects she’s not who she says she is. Meanwhile, the Israeli authorities are considering military action against the terror cell, but can Kurtz and Becker hold them off? Rating: *****

A Very British Country House, 9pm / C4

For the first time in its 350-year history, Cliveden House in Berkshire opens its doors to cameras in a new three-part series. It’s May and the luxury five-star hotel’s 162 staff are busy prepping for a ‘VVIP’ whose identity has been kept from them. When Meghan Markle arrives on the eve of her wedding to Prince Harry, the media exposure she generates prompts an unprecedented number of enquiries. General manager Kevin, butler Michael, wedding planner Lydia and sommelier Sean are among the colourful cast of characters creating a memorable experience for all the guests, among them bloggers Katie and Ben and their pampered pooch Pepi.
