Big Brother 9 housemate Lisa made a daring bid for freedom over the weekend - but returned to the house after just ten minutes. The 40-year-old sales rep stormed out through an emergency fire exit early on Saturday morning, shortly after Dale accidentally walked in on her in the toilet. However she did not actually leave the Big Brother compound and was allowed to return to the house via the Diary Room. She told Big Brother she had wanted to leave because she missed her boyfriend Mario - who was evicted from the house on July 11 - and was struggling to cope with the sight of Rex and his girlfriend Nicole, who entered the house on Friday night. "I'm like the Scarlet Pimpernel," she added, "Now you see me, now you don't." In other Big Brother news, Rachel has become the first female housemate to be named Head Of House after winning Saturday's Alphabet task. The housemates were required to recite the alphabet backwards in the fastest time possible to be in with a chance of the title. Although Darnell was fastest, he was not eligible to be head of house, having already had the job - so it went to Rachel instead. The housemates who took the longest to complete the task - Mikey, Kathreya and Nicole - will spend the week in hell while the others are now in heaven. Those include Lisa who has crossed the divide for the first time.
