Carl and Mercedes kiss!
Jack tells Carl that they need to take on extra staff so Riley manipulates Jack into hiring Mercedes much to Carl's annoyance. He and Riley come to blows when Carl insults Mercy and tells her that she isn't good enough for his son. Later, Carl and Mercy are alone when Carl admits he fancies her and the pair kiss. Cheryl tells Brendan to give Warren a chance now he's back in the village, but when Ste tells him that he murdered his girlfriend he fears for his sister. Later, Warren shows up in the Dog and confronts some old faces. He announces that Ste beat up his ex girlfriend and that Darren used to be a gambling addict. But it's Carmel who gets the biggest shock of all and faints when she sees him. Brenden asks India to meet him in the SU and then invites Ste and Rae to join them. They all head to the Dog and it's clear that Brendan isn't interested in India. After giving her the brush off he catches Ste alone, asking him to come back to his but Ste refuses, it's over. Also; Rhys and Jacqui continue to hide their relationship from a fragile Gilly. But when he catches Jacqui sneaking into Rhys room it's clear the game is up.
