Since her surgery colleagues Karen Hollins and Ruhma Carter both seem a bit down in the dumps, Emma Reid suggests lunch at the Icon bar for the ladies.
However, the lunch takes a worrying turn for midwife Ruhma when it becomes clear she's struggling to hear the conversation with Emma and Karen.
Worried something serious is wrong, when Ruhma returns to the The Mill after lunch she researches 'hearing tests' and grabs a pair of headphones...
Elsewhere, Dr Heston Carter is advising policeman Rob Hollins, now the reason behind his head pains has been revealed. Will Heston's advice also help put Rob's worried wife Karen's mind at ease?
Meanwhile, surgery receptionist Valerie Pitman finds herself in a spot of bother, when she's accused of stealing a valuable necklace from a glamorous pensioner, Norma Poole!
