Practice Manager, Mrs Tembe, calls an emergency meeting with Daniel and Zara, afraid Sid Vere and Ayesha Lee are ready to jump ship to Sutton Vale surgery
Mrs Tembe regrets sending Dr Sid Vere to interview for a job (and secretly spy at the same time) at rival surgery Sutton Vale, as now Sid and also nurse Ayesha Lee are considering accepting job offers from Mrs Tembe's arch-nemesis, Mr Jeremy Smail.
As Mr Smail continues to try and tempt Sid and Ayesha with offers of a big pay rise for jumping ship, Mrs Tembe calls an emergency meeting with surgery partners Dr Daniel Granger and his wife Dr Zara Carmichael. But when Mrs Tembe arranges a conference call with Mr Smail to try and sort out the situation, will things go from bad to worse?
Meanwhile, surgery receptionist Karen Hollins is back from her holiday but still on edge about her missing former foster son, James Coulter.
She immediately clashes with social worker Leo Tomas, who she believes should be doing more about the situation. So where is James and is he OK?
Elsewhere, computer games fan Dr Al Haskey finds himself involved in a strange situation when he treats fellow gamer Megan Lewalska at the surgery for an ear infection, and then discovers she has been using a tracking app to stalk another gamer Max Bradshaw and his girlfriend Carrie Bennett...
