Sid is knocked to the floor and left with a sore jaw after someone at The Mill loses their cool and lets their fists do the talking!

Zara Carmichael and Sid Vere have been trying to keep a lid on their sexy secret, after they hooked up for a one-night stand after the staff Christmas pub crawl. However, the pair remain unaware that Zara's husband Daniel Granger unexpectedly came home that night and saw the pair getting passionate in the bedroom!

With Daniel still avoiding Zara for more reasons than she realises, he is not happy when he keeps seeing Zara and Sid having hushed conversations around the surgery and wonders if there's still something going on between them.

Unaware the pair have just been discussing a patient, it's all too much for Daniel and he snaps. Better watch out, Zara and Sid!

Elsewhere in Letherbridge, Ruhma Carter takes her daughter Alia Hanif out for brunch at The Icon to break the news she's thinking of selling their family home following the death of Ruhma's husband Heston last year. But student Alia doesn't take the news well and storms off!

Simon Timblick
Writer

Simon has long been a fan of soap operas, and especially loves OVER-THE-TOP plots involving evil twins, hair-pulling catfights and natural disasters.

Anyone remember the Sunset Beach earthquake/tidal wave?

Or when Krystle Carrington got locked in the attic and replaced by look-a-like Rita in Dynasty?!

Simon has written for a variety of TV and childrens’ magazines/websites including Inside Soap, Nickelodeon, What’s On TV, Radio Times, Metro, Girl Talk, Disney Girl, Toxic! and Digital Spy.

He has reported LIVE from the red carpet at The British Soap Awards interviewing glammed-up stars from soapland, and hosted a Facebook LIVE session for Metro with Home and Away legend Ray Meagher (Alf "Stone the flamin' crows!" Stewart) to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Aussie soap.

Simon is also co-author of The Treasures Of Coronation Street (Carlton Books)

And the writer and director of (very!) low budget fright flick, Midsummer Night's EVIL and the sequel webisodes series, The Hatchet Woods HORROR.
