Doctors spoilers: Will Alia Hanif survive SHOCK collapse?
Ruhma fears the worst after her daughter Alia's collapse, which was brought on by drinking too many energy drinks to get through her exam stress
It's not been long since Ruhma Carter's husband Heston died after a car crash. But is tragedy about to strike again after the SHOCK collapse of Ruhma's student daughter, Alia Hanif?
Luckily, it looks like Alia will be OK after Ruhma discovers her daughter's state was brought on by all the caffeine and energy drinks she was having to help cope with the stress of her exams.
However, it's not long before Alia gets stressed-out again when she realises she is going to miss an important exam in the afternoon because she's stuck in hospital!
Alia vents her frustration to family friend and mentor Al Haskey that she has worked too hard and can't miss the exam. Suddenly Al has a brainwave...
He later arrives back at the hospital with a BIG surprise for patient Alia. He's spoken to the exam board, and because of the dramatic circumstances, she will be allowed to sit her exam in her hospital room. Hooray!
Meanwhile, back at The Mill, Zara Carmichael and Daniel Granger get an unexpected visit from policeman Rob Hollins who is busy reviewing all child protection cases.
But they are in for a SHOCK when Rob reveals he's there to investigate them, following their son Joe's recent visit to the police station when he was clearly upset by the arguments over their marriage break-up.
Zara and Daniel are both offended by Rob's questioning. But could it be they are in trouble, as later that evening Joe refuses to speak to Zara when she asks him what's wrong...
Elsewhere, Sid Vere gets a visit at the Campus Surgery from married couple Finn and Bob Kennedy.
But it appears Bob has something to hide from his beloved wife when he refuses to let Finn into the consulting room while Sid examines him.
However, Bob's not the only one in need of medical attention when Finn falls forward onto the floor while waiting for Bob in reception...
