When Dr Zara Carmichael and Dr Emma Reid meet to get some important paperwork done, they find themselves distracted by Dr Daniel Granger on TV!

The curse of working from home strikes for Dr Zara Carmichael and Dr Emma Reid, when the medics meet to get some work done. But instead they're distracted by the site of Zara's hubby Dr Daniel Granger on telly!

After a few pre-filming hiccups, not to mention his shock fake tan, Daniel has been turning on his charm for the cameras and hits his stride as a shopping channel presenter. But Zara and Emma find themselves so caught-up in the action on screen, they fail to get any work done and Zara forgets to pick up her son Joe after school. Whoops! Some might say, dishy Daniel has that kind of effect on women!

Meanwhile, surgery receptionist Valerie Pitman tries to convince nurse Ayesha Lee to read a self-help book she has borrowed from Ayesha's new boyfriend, social worker Leo Tomas. However, the self-help book and the pair's cutesy previous dates start Ayesha worrying that things with Leo are just too good to be true. Is Ayesha starting to have doubts about her new romance?

Elsewhere, midwife Ruhma Carter finds herself caught in the middle of bickering sisters Lorraine and Katie Simcox who disagree over the best birth method for pregnant Katie, after she's been in labour for 36 hours. Will it be a natural birth or an emergency Caesarean? Can Ruhma play peacekeeper?

Doctors continues weekdays at 1:45pm on BBC One

He has reported LIVE from the red carpet at The British Soap Awards interviewing glammed-up stars from soapland, and hosted a Facebook LIVE session for Metro with Home and Away legend Ray Meagher (Alf "Stone the flamin' crows!" Stewart) to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Aussie soap.
