Frozen in Kevin's bedroom in a state of shock, Freya dashes out grabbing her clothes. Later at The Mill, the pair have an awkward meeting; Freya tries to clear the air, but Kevin doesn't want to talk about it and neither wants to admit what happened! Elaine notices the distinct atmosphere between the pair and to their horror she guesses that they slept together. Elaine tries to play referee so the pair can air their differences, but once again they erupt into an argument. Kevin blurts out that Freya only slept with him to get over her girl crush on Cherry. Unfortunately Cherry arrives at just the wrong time, with her parents Paula and Malcolm in tow! Meanwhile, Rob urges Karen not to get her hopes up about the legacy, but Karen continues her research and arranges to meet Mr Grimsdale with proof. She later returns home on top of the world; Violet has left her a house in Kingsvale! Later, Karen and a cynical Rob meet Mr Grimsdale at the house; Karen charges from room to room in excitement and thinks all her dreams have come true when she discovers the house has a conservatory! Also, when Julia is the victim of an attempted, violent mugging she surprises herself with her reaction...

His CV includes spells as a news producer at the BBC and TVNZ, as well as web editor for Time Inc UK. He has produced TV news and entertainment features on personalities as diverse as Nick Cave, Tom Hardy, Clive James, Jodie Marsh and Kevin Bacon and he co-produced and directed The Ponds, which has screened in UK cinemas, BBC Four and is currently available on Netflix. 

An entertainment writer with a diverse taste in TV and film, he lists Seinfeld, The Sopranos, The Chase, The Thick of It and Detectorists among his favourite shows, but steers well clear of most sci-fi.
