Emmerdale SPOILERS: Liv Flaherty confesses a DARK secret about Paul's death?

Vinny is shocked in Emmerdale

Liv Flaherty is keeping a secret about Paul's death...

Liv Flaherty is at breaking point in the second Thursday episode of Emmerdale on ITV from 8pm (see our TV Guide for full listings).

Liv has been struggling with the fact Paul was begging her for help as he lay dying following the barn disaster last month.

Paul and Liv were in the wedding barn having an argument about his treatment of Vinny when Jimmy King's van ploughed into the building.

But while Liv regained consciousness and managed to get out of the barn alive, the same can't be said for Paul.

Not only were both Paul's legs trapped in the wreckage, but he was also caught in an explosion that ripped through the barn after Liv had managed to escape.

But despite the fact she tried to pull Paul from the wreckage even though he had only moments before beaten her up after she pressed him on his abuse of Vinny, Liv is feeling guilty for leaving Paul in the barn to die.

Drinking to forget

To cover her guilt Liv has started secretly drinking, something that her boyfriend Vinny has just worked out.

However, when Vinny finds her in a state he realises just how much Liv has been hitting the bottle and he confronts her about what is going on.

But a worse for wear Liv struggles to open up, knowing that Vinny is unlikely to ever forgive her if she confesses her secret.

As the pair chat, Vinny presses Liv on what she is hiding.

But will she tell him exactly what happened the day that his dad died?

Or will Liv continue to live with the guilty secret that is pushing her to the brink?

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays - see our TV Guide for full listings.
