Paddy cancels pregnant Chas' 20-week scan knowing she's terrified about what the sonographer might reveal about their unborn child
Chas (Lucy Pargeter) and Paddy (Dominic Brunt) are tentatively enjoying their pregnancy but they're well aware their fragile happiness could be snatched away with them at any point.
Having lost their daughter, Gracie, on the day she was born last year, the parents are still raw with grief. And with them having learned the tragic news of Gracie's terminal illness at the 20-week scan, it's clear to see why they're dreading the event which is looming large.
Concerned about stressed-out Chas' wellbeing, Paddy makes an executive decision and cancels the scan. Will feisty Chas take kindly to his machismo?
Unlucky-in-love Jai (Chris Bisson) finds himself getting dragged into the digital dating world thanks to Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy), Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) and Kerry (Laura Norton). The women manage to get curmudgeonly Jai to sign up to a dating up though Jai insists he's happy being single. Doth the factory boss protest too much?
